Notes: Ramble ahead. As I'm writing this now, the product isn't complete yet, but I'm so ecstatic and excited about this project ^__^ You can choose to skip the ramble, as it is only about the story of how/why I cooked up this project.

I had been held back in first-year high school Chinese for two consecutive times, meaning I have undergone first-year Chinese for over three years. (Oh, that's quite embarrassing to confess, since I actually intentionally and purposely failed. ^^; I passed in my third year, though!) Throughout the three years, I always had the same old lessons from my teachers. One of the lessons presented a story called Lian Hua （蓮花, literally translates to 'lotus flower'） written by a Chinese writer/author Xie Wan Ying（謝婉塋）who is more widely known as Bing Xin（冰心）. Most of her works are about a son's/daughter's love to his/her parent/s. More information can be found in her Wikipedia site.

Lian Hua is about Bing Xin's (assuming the narrator is herself) melancholy during a rainy day. She stares out the window from inside her house, and sees two lotuses, referring to each one as herself and as her mother.

I'm really compelled not to write too much since I might spoil it. ^^; But Lian Hua had such an impact on me, so I decided why not share her short story through the eyes of a PoT fangirl? The idea for a self-made doujinshi was born! I translated the short story here. Feel free to check it out. ^^ Mothers' Day was the original date of posting. Let's appreciate and acknowledge our mothers' endeavors in putting up with our, their children, tantrums and angsting. XD

This doujin is dedicated to all mothers out there. :) Even if you're not a mom, feel free to share this to other moms. I hope everyone will like this doujin! :)

Notes: This short story is by Xie WanYing (謝婉營) or more known as Bing Xin (冰心). I've decided to translate this as a rough draft because the story is just beautiful. It tells about one's love for his/her mother. It suits Mothers' Day very much, doesn't it?

As much as possible, I want to stick to the original and so it has to be from her (冰心) point of view. I will be creating a doujin out of this and, for me, this is necessary to ask. AND OF COURSE IT HAS TO BE A TENIPURI CHARACTER! It doesn't matter if it's male or female, I want to ask.

Assuming that the narrator is Bing Xin herself, I'll derive the character's traits from her name.

I finally got off my lazy ass to upload my art. Don't get me wrong; I draw on a daily basis. I'm not able to update because it's either: 1) The drawing sucks, 2) I'm too lazy to upload, or 3) Contrary to most beliefs, I'm busy and I don't have the time to upload and ramble in this LJ.

AND! I did say in my main LJ that I'll be posting a fic about Konomi Takeshi (*kneels*) and Minagawa Junko. That will come soon.
